Netherlands

Welcome to Overbury Southern’s  team page for Mental Health World Cup 2019 which will take place at QPR’s stadium on Sunday 12th May.

This fine bunch of ‘fitties’ will be attempting to represent the Netherlands in a game of five-aside-football, but most importantly will be raising awareness for the charity Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM). CALM is leading a movement against suicide, the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45 in the UK.

CALM was first launched in December 1997. They provide a free and confidential service 7 hours a day, 7 days a week for anyone who needs to talk about life’s problems.  They also support those bereaved by suicide, through the Support After Suicide Partnership (SASP). Please help us, help them!

The team comprises five Overbury employees (Andrew Boyle, Thomas Wright, Luke Batten, Daniel Shearman and  Phil Kilgour) as well as two from one of our Mechanical and Electrical subcontractors MCS (Luke Van Mazyk, Scott Hill and Ryan Halford).

*Note: Teams that to not raise enough sponsorship to play will have their donations refunded directly to the donor (please note PayPal may charge a small transaction fee).
