Mental Health World Cup 2021

It's on!
Thursday 20th May, 5pm at QPR's Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium. Places available!

Due to the pandemic we have had to scale down the event this year with four teams taking part in an 11-a-side tournament between Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas. Most of the places have been sold out but we have a few places available. Place your highest bid via our silent auction by clicking the button below.

What's changed this year?

Last year we had to cancel the event because of the pandemic, this year we are hosting a much smaller event but plan to have the same fantastic experience of playing in a professional stadium whilst raising vital funds for mental health charities.

There will be four continents taking part in a round robin 11 - a - side tournament made up of 18 players from different companies and communities. Each team will have three 30 minute matches to battle it out against the other continents. The team at the top of the table will be crowned the winner of this years Mental Health World Cup.

Unfortunately because of the strict covid restrictions currently in place and to ensure everyone's safety, no spectators will be allowed to attend this year and players will have to conform to the covid-19 guidelines set by QPR.

Over the past year, people have struggled with their mental health. This event plans to bring people together, playing on the pitch, raising money for those mental health charities and the experience of playing in a professional stadium. We hope to see you on the pitch, if you can't make it we plan to stream the event live so subscribe to our channels for the latest info

Thank you,

The Mental Health World Cup team

Play football.

Stand against suicide.

The Mental Health World Cup at QPR's Loftus Road Stadium is the UK's leading charity 5-a-side football tournament for the fight to prevent male suicide. We raise vital funds and raise awareness for charity CALM and other mental health community initiatives,.

Launched in 2012, the #MHWC has become a key fundraising and social event for the construction industry, where suicide rates are three times higher than the UK average. It provides an opportunity to bring people together - friends, colleagues and business associates - to raise money and awareness for this critical issue, whilst giving everyone involved an incredible day to remember.
